Every January, Allie Casazza releases her Declutter Like a Mother Challenge. This will be year three for me in participating in the challenge. We always start in the bathroom. It’s easy to get rid of extras, expired or never used items in the bathrooms as opposed to other areas of the home. Last year I came across a few items that help keep my bathrooms tidy and I wanted to share them with you!
- Mesh Bath/Shower Organizer- I found this on Amazon, and use it to store shavers, body wash, face wash and any other items that would usually line the shower shelves. This way I find it easier to do a quick clean of the bath as there is no products to clear off the sides.
- Three Chamber Shampoo/ Conditioner Holder- this product is also off Amazon and sticks to your shower wall. We use it for my shampoo and conditioner and husbands shampoo. Again it keeps the bottles from cluttering the tub edges and makes it quicker for me to clean the shower!
- Toothbrush Holder- I use this in the kids bathroom. It goes on the wall and holds their toothbrushes, toothpaste and has a cup for each of them.
- Boon Frog Bath Toy Caddy- this toy caddy attaches to the bathtub wall and has holes for drainage. It’s my Favorite of three different bath toy holders that I’ve tried.
- In my master bath I also have a makeup organizer tray that is stored in the mirror cabinet. It’s long and narrow and is the perfect size for the amount of makeup I have. On the counter I also have a cotton makeup remover pad holder and q-tip holder that keeps things tidy.
These items have helped keep the washrooms tidy and clutter free! A place for everything and everything in its place. Which helps make cleaning easier too!
